Say Cheese!
I know some of you have already seen this...but I'm pretty bad at 'regularly' updating this ol' blog thing. None the less, here is Hayden's school picture! He did such a good job! His class photo is below it, the girl on the bottom row, very right end (pink tank) is Azlyn, one of his girlfriends. The other girlfriend is Sophie, shes the one on the top row, on the very right end, above Azlyn.

I wouldn't call Sophie his girlfriend so much, she just WISHES she was his girlfriend. She has asked him to marry her on several occasions. She is mean and bullies him around a lot - ya know, cuz she likes him. :o)
So, I've been a member of Netflix since I think Febuary and I pretty much paid for it within the first two weeks! It's awesome. I have watched more movies than ever, saving me well over prob $100 now. Here are some movies I have already watched so far:

Word to your mother
So I had a wonderful Mother's Day! We had our time at home, then went to my mom's for dinner.
Hayden had actually brought home his project he made and wrapped up for me at school a few days ago. I wasn't supposed to see it, but he gave it to me anyhow.
Last night before I told him goodnight, we were talking about Mother's Day and the present he made me. I was guessing silly things that it might be, like a shoe or a frog, when he said:
"Mommy, the grass we grew in our cup isn't what your not supposed to see! It's the flower pot I painted with the flower I've been growing for you that your not supposed to see!"
I laughed sooooooo hard when he had the look on his face after he said it. The confusion of "Did I just give that away?" was written all over it!
I've decided to post a few 'memories' I have of my mommy :) Because I believe my mom epitomizes the reason that there is a Mother's Day.
I remember one day, about 4 or 5, I was sitting on the floor looking out of the big glass sliding door at the dogs in the backyard. I was eating one of those gigantically jumbo bags of popcorn they used to sell at the store. After I popped some in my mouth I looked down at the bag and saw something black on one of the pieces of popcorn (could have been a burnt spot or an unpopped kernel) but in my mind, I convinced myself it was dirt. I immediately made myself sick thinking about the fact that I just ate dirt (which I really didn't) and yelled to my mom. She ran in the room and saw I was about to throw up...well there was no time to get a bowl, so she just cupped her hands together and then heave hoooooo :)
I remember my mom eating the skins off apples because I was too snooty and only wanted to eat the inside, letting us finger paint with pudding on the kitchen table and letting me borrow her rad 80's earrings that I thought were the jam.
I also remember a family store outing where I was sitting in the basket when my mom left to go to the next aisle. Even though I was with my dad, I screamed and cried bloody murder only for her until she came back. (I don't even know how I remember that, I was extremely young)
I remember her being there right next to me through all the surgeries I've had, comforting me through sleepless crying nights and being strong for us, when we had no one.
And now I get to see her with my kids, doing it all over again. This time, helping ME do a lot of it too. I am very lucky to have her as a mom, she has been the ONLY constant thing in my life, there with me through no matter what.
Who else would let me barf their hands and eat just the skins off my apples?

Springish Cleaning
Wow, today was busy! We emptied the house of furniture and everything and then Patrick dusted everything in sight, walls and ceilings too! With help of course from Hayden :) Then we cleaned all the carpets and cleaned everything else and finally put the house back together. Then I bathed both kids, both dogs and myself. I would have helped Patrick bathe, but who would have watched the kids? >:)

I don't know who I actually told about what happened to me last week, so I will post it on here. Last Friday I got into a car accident! Here's my little story -
I'm driving along in the right lane coming home from picking the boy up from school. The kids and I are cruising along, singing itsy bitsy spider, apples and bananas, you know..all that jazz, when all the sudden this car pulls out of a parking lot full speed without looking to see if anyone is coming! I layed on my horn, which she completely ignored. I had to swerve over into the very left lane (thank God there was no one behind me at all) to avoid slaming into her car, but she just kept going over ino the left lane too! I was still laying on my horn (she was STILL completely oblivious to the fact that I was on the road) I had to slam on my breaks and she just plowed right into the right side of my car. She didnt even look around her before she had pulled out of the parking lot! If you are turning RIGHT onto a busy street, you HAVE to look LEFT to see if anyone is already coming...right?!? Apparently she is some OverLord that doesnt have to follow the rules....
We pulled over and this 16 year old chick who looks and talks exactly like airhead Karen from 'Mean Girls' gets out of her car completely scared. She was about to pass out panting like a dog and was white like she was gonna faint.
This is what she says, "Oh My God! Oh My God! I've NEVER driven this far from home before and my dad is gonna KILL me!"
....no thanks.....its cool....I'm fine...my kids are ok......
She just sat in her car crying the whole time while I called to file a police report, took pictures and all of that grown-up business. You know, I know it was an accident, but good Lord! Everyone please look where you are driving!! What if I wasnt able to get in the other lane? I would have crashed right into her car at full speed. What if you caused a wreck and kids got hurt? Please pay attention! And if there is not room for you to pull out or get over, DONT! Just freakin wait 1.6 minutes until its clear! Anyway, I hope you take just a little something away from this and be more aware driving from now on. Dont be Karen from Mean Girls...
Oh and by the way instead of calling her parents to tell them what happened and have them come to the 'accident site'...she calls her friend...another 16 year old....I thought that was
Hi-larious.

Brand New Blog!
I decided to start a blog to keep family and friends updated with our little family without having to keep them on the phone! I know, I'm so considerate right? :)
Where should I start? I guess with today! Well, today I started exercising again! I did the Richard Simmons 'Sweatin to the Disco' - You can laugh, its ok. Somehow watching women 500 lbs more than me makes me feel better. After that I did 100 rounds on the AbLounge and then ran for 10 minutes. Hey, its a good start for me! I'm quite proud! Afterwards I commenced to eating a chocolate bar and drinking a coke....
Later this afternoon I was playing with Camille on the floor (ok, you have to already know how stinky this little girl is to understand this story!) and we each had a little piano. Camille has this new thing she keeps saying - "I know!" She says it if she has an idea, is looking for something, etc...Well, she stopped playing her piano, but I kept going. She shot a few glares at me since she was trying to watch Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and I was still pounding those keys. All of the sudden she says "I know! Shhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" in the most sarcastic tone, complete with the ghetto head bob and all. Ahh this girl keeps me laughing all day.

Oh! I also found my dream Dining Room table setup! My heart stops everytime I look at it. :) Hopefully my wonderful loving amazing husband who is reading this will get it for me!
Well, I'll post more another day, so just keep checking when you want!
