Well, Christmas is over and we have all survived again! This time of the year is so busy, there is so much family to see and things to do.
On Christmas Eve, we headed over to Patrick's Aunt Janet's house in Grand Prairie to see Patrick's dad's side of the family. I have already met a lot of that side, but I got to meet a lot more and more importantly his Grandparents, they live up in the Panhandle area. I enjoyed seeing all of them and they are all so sweet and loving. It was nice to spend Christmas Eve with them.
The men: Shannon (cousin), Uncle Roland, Derek, their Grandpa, Patrick's dad, and Patrick

Shannon (cousin), Patrick's dad, Stephanie (cousin) and DerekWe drove back home later in the night so the kids could open one Christmas Eve present and also so they could wake up to Santa at home! Patrick and I received the usual "Wake up!!! Santa CAME!!!!!!!" little boy jumping on us on Christmas morning. That is so worth it. By far my favorite part!

After opening presents and playing with toys, we all got ready for Round 2 and headed over to my Uncle Dave's house in Mesquite to celebrate with the extended family there. We got to visit and catch up with everyone and see all the little babies again. Unfortunately, I did not remember to take any pictures.....so just imagine it!
Round 3, in the evening we headed over to my mom's house to have the immediate family celebration with just us, Chris & Hershey, mom, Pily, Cristian, Carla & Robert. And of course the kids.
Cristian and Camille
Almost everyone
Jett
Carla and the boys
Granny and Kade
The kids. It took about 9 shots to get even this picture....erg. Camille kept sitting with her back to the camera and the other kids were either goofy or just didn't want to do it. Ah well, memories. After all the whirlwind of Christmas was dying down, we went over to Patrick's mom's a couple days later to do Santa festivities there. Everyone's schedule conflicted, so we just waited until after Christmas to celebrate Christmas! The kids had a lot of fun and Gramma and Papa got them really cool toys! They are currently fighting over one in particular! Once again, I forgot my camera, so you know the drill....
Now everything's over so it seems......but I still have to take down the tree and all the decorations. Not to mention my house is in disarray with ripped up wrapping paper, toys, and all the boxes and twisties they came in. I cleaned up Camille's room yesterday and reorganized everything to make room for the truck loads of new toys, yet they keep ending up on the living room floor....its a mystery....
I hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!
